Our Advocacy
Professionals Who Care stands for the well-being of
employed caregivers and their loved ones.

It is essential to engage in federal and state level politics to create lasting changing for the tens of millions of employed caregivers across the United States. When caregivers and our allies raise our voices in the political arena, we drive systemic transformation that individual workplaces alone cannot achieve.

State-level successes in Illinois, New York, and California demonstrate how targeted legislation can reduce caregiver turnover, increase workplace flexibility, and create economic benefits for both employees and employers. These #FutureOfWork state initiatives serve as laboratories for innovation, creating models that can be replicated nationwide. We are currently focused on the Colorado CARE Act.

Federal policies ensure that geography doesn't determine whether someone must choose between their career and caregiving responsibilities. We succeed when we can secure nationwide standards for workplace accommodations, paid family leave, and anti-discrimination protections that benefit millions of caregivers simultaneously.

When we advocate together for comprehensive caregiver protection laws, we transform the isolated struggles of individual caregivers into a powerful collective movement for workplace inclusivity. Your engagement directly contributes to lasting change. Together, we can build a future that's good for business and good for us all.
